Join the joy of being one on the Boardwalk. We feel very alone when we’re shy. It hurts. When we’re no longer shy, we realize that everyone is alone, but then we’re strong enough to bear the weight of solitude because we can discuss it with others.

For a long time I thought I couldn’t speak with people because I feared them, but now I realize it was more some sort of fear of myself, the fear of my inability to speak, the feeling of me freezing up inside.
